Welcome to Troop 66. It is my honor and pleasure to serve as Scoutmaster for this fine troop. Our troop operates as a 'boy-led' troop with Scouts serving as Patrol Leaders, instructors and mentors to younger Scouts. We have an active program in place to welcome our "Newbies" each year. Through older Scout mentoring our new Scouts rapidly become acclimated to the Scouting program and find their niche within the troop.
All of the accomplishments of our troop couldn't take place without the valuable assistance of our Assistant Scoutmasters, Troop Committee members and parent volunteers. A particular thanks to parents who endow in the Scouting program the trust to guide boys; helping them become confident, strong, trustworthy young men.
We believe in the foundations of Scouting and understand the importance of leading our Scouts on the path to adulthood using the Scouting tenets:
